1. Projectiles as a week weapon? impo No - in Ships and Modules [original thread]
Heck, I'm an avid hybrid user and even I think projectiles have been way overnerfed after running our own the tests. As for Slithreen being wrong, I think that much is obvious. After all, she said: Quote: I do not find the number of miss...

2. projectile turrets-bpc are they getting nerfed or not in the future - in Test Server Feedback [original thread]
Quote: I dont know what you guys are smoking. my plain vanilla 650mms miss 1 out of 2 at 25-30 km with phased plasma. At 15-25 km, i miss probably 25%, and less than 15km 1-2 out 10. Never mind 650mm scouts. And what is with this myth that 2...

3. Production-run limited blueprint pricing - in EVE General Discussion [original thread]
It wouldn't make much sense for CCP to install the licencing system if they grandfather existing BP copies as unlimited. The main point of this venture is that researched BP copies are too close in power to original BPs. Think about it. The only ...

4. projectile turrets-bpc are they getting nerfed or not in the future - in Test Server Feedback [original thread]
When you actually hit the projectile damage is fine; the problem is that you miss so much and fire so slowly your average damage over time is much less than those of hybrids and lasers. We ran stationary firing tests at E02-IK with 4 650 scouts vs...

5. 1135: Licensing reply - in Test Server Feedback [original thread]
Sounds good. Once the existing BP copies run out we will finally see some specialization in manufacturing. People may actually start buying from other people instead of everybody being able to manufacture every frikkin thing under the sun and not...

6. report RUS vs SA - in Corporation, Alliance and Organization Discussions [original thread]
I would be very impressed by RUS if the figures were at least 50% accurate. I thought RUS was insane going up against a conglomerate of megacorps on their home turf. I mean, these aren't exactly sheep-hunting jump-happy pirate corps RUS is fightin...

8. why use projectiles? - in EVE General Discussion [original thread]
Yes, you still can do as much damage per hit as energy or hybrid weapons, but projectile weapons have much lower RoF, plus they have much shorter optimum range which means they land hits half as often as energy and hybrid weapons outside of 6~12km...

9. Space Invaders - Know the truth - in EVE General Discussion [original thread]
They probably just shot your corp mate just to get some exposure here. The pirate flame threads they feed off of have been few and far between since the patch. ----------------------- Gwyneth Museveni Rogue Mercenary Cyberneticist

10. Why am I being shot by pirates? - in EVE General Discussion [original thread]
It's like you say, your pod can own them. CONCORD obviously consider them laughing stocks beneficial to tourism rather than threats. "Oh, look little Johnny, a dashing pirate! And he's shooting peas at our tour barge, oh no! Wave at him, honey." ...

11. Pirates, Game Balance, and The Future - in EVE General Discussion [original thread]
It seems to me that m0o's recourse in this is simple: Hire Setec's lawyer and sue CONCORD and the sentry gun manufacturers for unspecified monetary and emotional damages from being "encouraged" to leave empire space. If nothing else, they ought t...

13. Labs slots still not recognizing activity right - 1105 - in Test Server Feedback [original thread]
I had this same problem with a long job. It appears that the code may not consider the lab used unless you "complete" a job during the rental period. This has naturally become a problem if you are running really long jobs. That doesn't seem to be ...

14. 1105 Weapon Guide : Learn your guns - in EVE General Discussion [original thread]
"Unless you can find a hybrid captain dumb enough to let you webify/kite him at 30k" Paul, 30k may be good enough for your silly Gallente Thorax+Anti-Matter, but most hybrid cruisers are well within optimum+falloff at 30k and will******a project...

15. 1105 Weapon Guide : Learn your guns - in EVE General Discussion [original thread]
Nightwing, you don't have to stay at 30k. We ran some PvP tests and projectile users can't hurt you nearly badly enough before you close to 20k and flat******him in seconds. Even if they manage to keep the range their ammo capacity has been cut do...

16. lol @ new patch - in EVE General Discussion [original thread]
Hybrids became the most powerful guns by far, as it was always meant to be. You just can't use anti-matter as easily as before. Thorium seems to work just fine. Energy weapons are still pretty good. Projectile users, on the other hand, are now co...

17. Thorax is seriously underpowered. - in Ships and Modules [original thread]
Gallente ships are the best miners, so they take a slight hit in combat power. Let's also not forget that, with the +25% hybrid damage bonus, four 250mm Prototype Gauss do as much as five, while using only the power, CPU, ammo, AND CAP of four. I...

18. Police Attacks, ALL READ - in EVE General Discussion [original thread]
